What is the amount to fund my weight loss care?
The total cost of care depends on your individual medical needs and the treatment plan a licensed provider recommends after reviewing your health history.
Made Ya Skinny is not a subscription or medication-only service. We provide comprehensive, provider-directed medical weight loss care, which may include injectable therapies, lifestyle guidance, and additional supportive treatments when appropriate.
We focus on outcomes and long-term health through medically supervised care, not simply mailing medications.
Do you prescribe brand-name weight loss medications like Wegovy® or Zepbound®?
Yes. When clinically appropriate, our licensed providers may prescribe FDA-approved brand-name weight loss medications such as Wegovy® or Zepbound®.
Prescriptions for FDA-approved medications are sent to the patient’s pharmacy of choice or fulfilled through manufacturer-approved distribution channels.
Made Ya Skinny provides medical evaluation and prescription services only and does not manufacture, compound, or dispense FDA-approved branded medications.
Our monthly provider fee covers medical consultation, evaluation, and prescription management. Medication cost, availability, insurance coverage, and shipping are determined by the dispensing pharmacy or manufacturer-approved fulfillment partner and are outside of our control.
Do you dispense or sell Wegovy® or Zepbound®?
No. Made Ya Skinny does not carry, stock, sell, dispense or ship brand-name medication. All FDA-approved prescriptions are fulfilled by licensed pharmacies or manufacturer-approved fulfillment partners.
Do the prices for weekly weight loss injections include everything?
Weekly injection-based medical weight loss programs — here is what it costs. Cash price, billed in advance. Same price in the office or by telehealth.
- Tirzepatide — $499 total for your first 12 weeks. After that it is $259 every 4 weeks.
- Semaglutide — $399 total for your first 12 weeks. After that it is $169 every 4 weeks.
- Prepay and it drops. Tirzepatide is $244, $224 or $199 every 4 weeks on a 12-week, 24-week or 52-week plan. Semaglutide is $159, $147 or $136.
Military discount: active-duty service members, veterans, retirees and their spouses save 10% on pay-as-you-go membership pricing for their first 12 months. Verified at sign-up with a military ID, VA card or DD-214. Cannot be combined with other discounts.
The first-12-weeks figure is the total for the whole 12 weeks, not a per-refill rate. The $17 fee applies only to a standalone booked in-person provider appointment. It does not apply to a telehealth purchase or other transaction, and no separate consultation fee is added when a purchase has already been made. Sales tax, card processing and any third-party financing fees are separate.
This GLP-1 pricing is the only fixed, published pricing we offer. Other services — InvisaRed body contouring, BHRT hormone therapy, nutrition coaching, and similar — are not one-size-fits-all, so they’re priced individually with you at your appointment based on what your treatment plan actually needs.
Which medication and dose is right for you is decided by a licensed provider after reviewing your health history. Your program fee covers medical evaluation, provider oversight, and prescription management when applicable.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes. Active-duty service members, veterans, retirees and their spouses save 10% for their first 12 months on pay-as-you-go weight loss membership pricing, for compounded or brand-name programs. They also save 10% on year 1 of the all-inclusive BHRT plan.
Bring a military ID, VA card or DD-214 when you sign up, and our staff will verify it. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts and does not apply to the insurance-supported BHRT plan.
How much do FDA-approved brand-name medications cost?
The cost of FDA-approved weight loss medications varies based on the medication prescribed, dosage, insurance coverage, and the dispensing pharmacy or manufacturer-approved fulfillment partner.
Because FDA-approved medications are dispensed by licensed pharmacies or manufacturer-approved distribution channels, Made Ya Skinny does not set, control, or collect payment for the medication itself.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-pay medical practice. Insurance coverage decisions for FDA-approved medications are determined by the patient’s insurance provider and dispensing pharmacy.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept cash (in-person), all major credit and debit cards, Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna, CareCredit, Cherry Finance, Zelle, and Venmo.
Processing fees vary by payment method and are calculated at checkout.
Do you accept HSA/FSA?
Yes. HSA and FSA funds may be used toward eligible medical services. That’s a great way to fund your care.
How do I apply for CareCredit or Cherry Finance?
It’s easy to do! A credit decision is usually immediate. It is a financing decision only — it is not a medical approval, and it does not mean any medication has been prescribed. Then schedule a time on the calendar or send us a message and we will finish the rest manually.
A few words of advice — try Cherry Finance first, then apply for CareCredit, and pick the better of the two offers.
Make sure you put in an amount of credit you are requesting — it makes a difference. For example, if you plan to do 12 months of weekly weight loss injections, you want to request a credit limit of $5,500.
What if I can’t afford those monthly payments?
We totally understand that those monthly payments can be out of reach for several people, but this is where Made Ya Skinny really stands above other clinics. We offer several ways to lower your monthly payment with CareCredit and Cherry Finance. Financing can bring the monthly payment down a long way. What you pay depends on the amount financed, the term, and the offer you qualify for, which is set by the lender and not by us. Ask us in the live chat and we can help guide you through that process.
What can I expect after I sign up for telehealth and purchase online?
After you complete your online intake, a Made Ya Skinny-affiliated provider licensed in your state reviews your health history. If treatment is appropriate, the provider prescribes it and the prescription is sent to the pharmacy. The provider may message you through your patient portal, so check it and reply. Some states and medications require a live first visit; if that applies to you, we help you book it. You sign your consent forms before any prescription is filled. Booking a visit is always your choice.
Is the entire program completely online?
Yes, for most patients: a licensed provider reviews your intake online, and a real person is always available when you ask.
Patients located in the Houston, TX area may also choose to receive in-person services, including 3D body scanning and personalized support.

Cancellation and refund policy
Pay-as-you-go orders may be canceled before the medication ships. Medication that has shipped is nonrefundable.
If a prepaid plan is canceled early, medication already shipped—including future periods shipped together—is nonrefundable. Shipped treatment periods are recalculated at the regular, non-discounted pay-as-you-go rate. The remaining eligible prepaid balance is refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days.
