Compounded Tirzepatide Treatment Information
Short answer: a licensed provider may consider a patient-specific compounded prescription only after reviewing your medical history and deciding that it is medically appropriate and that your needs cannot be met by a commercially manufactured, FDA-approved drug.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed. A compounded medication is not a generic drug and should not be treated as interchangeable with a commercially manufactured, FDA-approved drug.
Who prescribes and fills it?
Made Ya Skinny provides the medical evaluation and, when clinically appropriate, the prescription. Made Ya Skinny does not manufacture, compound, dispense, or ship medication. A state-licensed compounding pharmacy prepares and dispenses each patient-specific prescription and provides the medication label and use instructions.
Who may qualify?
Eligibility is not decided by this page, a prescreen, or a payment. A licensed provider must review your health history, current medications, contraindications, and treatment needs. The provider may request more information or lab work, recommend another option, or decline to prescribe.
What does the starter program cost?
$5.94 per day equivalent
$499 charged for the first 12 weeks. This is one upfront charge covering the first 12 weeks, not a monthly price. The starter program is for new patients, patients new to this medication, or patients who have not received an injection in the past 30 days.
After the starter period, the standard cash price is $259 charged every 4 weeks. Treatment, dose, and continuation require provider approval. Taxes, card-processing fees, or third-party financing costs are shown before payment when applicable.
Military discount: active-duty service members, veterans, retirees and their spouses save 10% on pay-as-you-go membership pricing for their first 12 months. Verified at sign-up with a military ID, VA card or DD-214. Cannot be combined with other discounts.
The $17 fee applies only when booking a standalone in-person appointment with a provider. It does not apply to a telehealth purchase or other transaction, and no separate consultation fee is added when a purchase has already been made.
